We are located in the picturesque Waterberg area of the Limpopo province of South Africa between the well known landmark mountain rock called Modimolle or “Kranskop” and the town Modimolle formerly known as Nylstroom.

Legends tell of human sacrifices to the gods at Modimolle which means “the gods have eaten”. When voortrekker settlers arrived in the area they thought that they have reached the source of the Nile hence the former name Nylstoom with “Kranskop” or Modimolle resembling a Egyptian pyramid.
